Its a pain to grind the dust though. I've tried grinding it before, followed a series of locations. Very frustrating to run round and round westfall even though they drop dead in one shot.

Yes the droprate is horrible.

You can mark 'dust howlers' spawn points on your map addon and do the circle with your epic mount.

About 1 drop every hour this way...

For people using bots it's quite easy to leave one in a spawn point all night long. The zone is very low level so no problem at all...
