I was in TK today and some idiot pulled too early while I was getting my food buff (I just started to eat) and we all knew it was going to be a wipe
(Since I'm the MT and without me, elites are going to be 1hitting people)
so I clicked my hearth stone and while I was casting my hearth, I was still eating. Well when I ended up back in shat, I WAS STILL EATING! 3secs later, I got my food buff, got a summon back and was good to go.

Alright so some people don't understand so I'll explain a bit more.

- I was eating food that gives you a 30min buff after 15secs of eating.
- I was able to hearth while eating (waiting for the 15seconds mark so it buffs me) and it did not stop me from eating although casting other spells etc do.
- When I was ported to Shattrah, I was still eating, even though I had ported and used my hearth.

I was unable to find a buff food which took 15 seconds for the buff to kick in, I may be wrong though. Perhaps you could link it to us?
Most (if not all) buff food grants the buff in 10 seconds
Hearth is a 10 second cast.

Knowing this, by the time you hearthed you would have had already obtained the well fed buff.

@ #2, why would a tank need to hearth to avoid a 90g repair bill? (Assuming you are well geared). Most guilds with atleast kara on farm status, have an active guild bank, which should be used for healer and tank repairs and guild chants.
