So, I never really realized this, but wherever you can log out instantly, you gain rested XP. Therefore, when you are leveling a character you always want to receive rested XP when your not on, but it always sucks to have to walk all the way to an Inn and park your character when you may only be off for 24 hours. This isn't exactly an exploit, more of a cool trick. The way its done is that when you are questing in a certain area, ex: Refuge Point(where there is no Inn) you can fly from say Ironforge to Refuge Point and log out before you land. Then you will be gaining rested XP and when you log in you will land within seconds to your questing spot, instead of having to fly all the way from an Inn. Hope this helps some people, because it really helps me when leveling my alts =).
