Why would you prefer ambush before garrote and cheapshot? Only use for it would be for bleed and stun immune mobs. In pvp you use garrote or cheap shot.

Laugh because he just wasted his Vanish CD just to do 2 specials for a max of 5 Combot Points (if Seal Fate) -- as opposed to, say, CS+SS/Hemox2 for 4 CPs (or more with Initi. and/or SF) with Vanish intact?

Cheap Shot+Garrote are the best openers. Period.
The Stun and Silence on them far outweighs the damage of Ambush.

Ambush is only viable if someone is at low health, otherwise it's not that great.

first of all you can make macros to equip the items you want with 1 click of a button second you can ambush then switch to ur weapon manually which takes oooh about 0.0000001 seconds once u click the weapn in ur bag slot WOW COOOL MOD SO USEFULL CAN DO LOTSA STUFF U CANT DO NORMALLY

It may be helpful for PvE but its completely useless for PvP imo.
Cheap shot/ Garrote is much better if you are non shs dagger specced since there is greater cp regeneration with cheap shot plus those 4 sec stun and silence woth garrote plus dot.
Ambush is generally useless tbh , except if you like to crit for 4k dmg green geared ppl and 1 shot them sometimes in Bgs ;p
