Possible bug with Bash'ir Phasing Device?

I been leeching for a long time since I couldn't find something decent to share. Well here is my find.

As I was doing the Intercepting the Mana cells daily a few mins ago I got ganked by a Nelf rogue while we were both under the effect of the phase buff. Needless to say he used vanish while He was down at 15% hp but here is what got my attention. I was still able to see him even though he had vanish. Not sure why I was still able to see him from a distance but I put him out of his misery. Not sure if this is working as intended or a bug/exploit but I will try confirm it once I find another rogue. Yeah I know...ss or It didn't happen >.>

Working entirely as intended. The "Phase" buff is nothing more than a fancy word for Invisibility. The Phase Worms are invisible, hence why you can't see them unless you are.

Since Rogue's Vanish turns them invisible for a second, using it while phased would have no effect. This goes for Mage's Invisibility spell, as well, but that situation is far less common.

Ah, here I wasn't sure what just happen since I still had him target even though he vanish. Well it is late so my eyes just playing tricks on me. Well, thank for the reply. Back to the drawing board...
