GM's are obviously ALOT smarter then you are. A basic GM can see every little thing you do from each individual copper you pick up to every letter you type. NO GM WOULD EVER BELIEVE A CHARACTER TRANSFER GOT DELETED. In fact its more likely that you would get banned for doing this and trying to take advantage of a GM then you would ever get a character duped.

Yup... He's an idiot, this wouldn't get you banned like the thing said, GM's are very apathetic and fairly lazy. They wouldn't undergo a full investigation for a simple restore.

/yawn. Same trick that no one has ever posted proof of it actually working.

2 things wrong with it:

1. It hinges on a name change. It does not matter what excuse you give them for why your name needs to be changed. In fact they wholly ignore it. Your name only gets changed if they determine the name is in violation, for whatever reason.

2. The character window has a checkbox right on it for both deleted AND transferred. They HAVE to look at that checkbox to undelete your character.

Feel free to not believe me, I could really care less. This trick MAY have worked when Blizzard was temporarily using GMs from a temp agency in New Mexico, but they have long since dropped them.

Tomit, GMs never worked from New Mexico. GMs have only worked in Irvine and Austin, in the US.

If any of this is true, it's most likely a one-time occurrence. Mistakes do happen during investigations, and that's most likely what happened. I'd be genuinely surprised if I saw someone who could reproduce this.

Tell them that your Girlfriend/Boyfriend or family member deleted your character by accident.

may get you a temp ban for acc sharing
