Ravencrest is a passion project developed with the spirit of Tournament style, competitive PvP in mind. Our pursuit of this style has us striving to bring fully functional and balanced gameplay to our community.

After years of playing Cataclysm and observing the history of WoW servers as a whole, we have taken many of the best ideas, and cut away much of the empty, time consuming grind that dulls our experiences. In addition to Tournament style Arena Seasons, World and other PvP areas will be stimulated in order to provide the most complete competitive experience.

To our followers and future players, we promise all your competitive PvP needs will be met on Ravencrest in time. Thank you to all, for your continued interest and support in this project.

Recent Announcements

[Dec 17th 2018] December 20th is just around the corner, and you know what that means; Public Beta! As promised, our final testing phase is on schedule for this upcoming Thursday and is expected to continue through January.
While this is often an inactive time for private server communities, we at Ravencrest are still working together to satisfy our communities need for competitive PvP. If you are already with us, you know what to expect, and if you aren’t yet, follow the details below and see for yourself.

[Dec 8th, 2018] We are proud to announce that December 20th is our expected public beta release date for the Anathema realm. Our priority for this final beta phase will be to ensure the highest quality of PvP gameplay for the community. The level of detail in balanced PvP is extensive, but through hard work and with our teams commitment we are prepared to announce these plans in front of our growing audience. There is still quality assurance work to be done before our standards are met for a full release, and we appreciate all of the time you take for testing our content. This is an exciting time for us, and we are glad to be sharing these moments with all of you.


Here is a brief list of our realms currently implemented features. If you have any technical questions, we would love to answer your comments or have a discussion about it in Discord.

Gameplay

• Cross-Faction Battlegrounds, Arenas, Guilds
• Duel Zone CD resets, phasing before duels
• End of Season Tournaments, invitations for top teams
• PvE gear limited to Raid Finder, DS/FL proc weapons and trinkets removed

Progression

• Starter, Honor, Conquest design
• Season 1 begins like 4.0.6 with Bloodthirsty starter gear
• Higher patch with every Arena Season, lasting 3 months
• Upon reaching Season 11, community poll deciding the patch

Vanity

• Arena Spectator to follow and browse teams
• Dynamic Transmog system
• Arena Cache system with rarity based on rating
• Free Race/Faction changes
• Exclusive Arena transmogs, based on 2v2 or 3v3 rating

Currently in Development

• Anti-Cheat to prevent flying, teleport and speed hacking
• Anti-Wintrade to monitor and prevent rating based cheating
• Build Template system, one click setup for all standard class specialisations, including gear, gems and enchants
