After a hiatus of almost 3 months, Hamcake Land is back! Following overwhelming support, ideas and donations from our players - work started up again to bring the server back to it's former glory, this time with dedicated hosting however.

The setting...

The server is primarily based in Stromgarde Keep in Arathi Highlands. A horde raiding party attacked this once noble Alliance stronghold and pushed them back into the main keep itself. In a last ditch effort, Alliance Cannoneers fired upon their own gate thus sealing themselves and the Horde inside Stromgarde. The two factions are battling endlessly for control of Stromgarde and the diminished resources that remain. It is up to forgotten heroes like yourself to turn the tide of this struggle.

Battles are also raging fiercly elsewhere however. Goblin Arena organisers are around offering great rewards to heroes that prove themselves the fiercest of Gladiators, fighting in the great ring of Nagrand to the depths of Dalaran's Sewer.

F.A.Q.

- How does the Rated WSG work?

We decided to replace Rated 5v5 Arena with Rated WSG. 5v5 is a fairly underplayed bracket at level 19 anyway and Rated WSG opens up a load of new possibilities for premading! Yes, this does mean you can't do 5v5 Rated however.

- TF2 Hat System? Im confused.

Each character has a timer that counts down from 15-25 minutes. Once the timer reaches 0, the next time you die you recieve a piece of "Metal". Each time you recieve metal the timer is reset back to 15-25 minutes and gradually as you gather enough you can craft it into Hats. The hat you craft is completely random and is for cosmetic purposes only (shares stats with Lucky Fishing Hat). If you don't like the one you get, you can just trade it with someone else!

I should add that the metal isn't a reward for dying, you just get it upon death to prevent players going afk and getting a piece every 15-25 minutes.

- If there's no custom gear what do you work for?

Vanity items, a whoooooole lot of them!
