I'm getting in to WoW Private Server Development and I have some questions.

I'm trying to get in to private server development. Just kind of working on my own thing for fun and experience. What is the best DBC editor I could use for an Ac-Web Repack V-0.8 64bit. Trinity core 3.3.5. I want to start trying to add little things at first like Achievements and Items / Spell. Then maybe work in to adding some factions, quests and other things.

Follow-up question. If I edit the DBC files, do I need to create a patch for those edits to take effect client side? If so, what is a good program for that and are there any tutorials available for anything I have mentioned in this post?

Thank you in advance for you help, I really appreciate it!

For editing spells you can use my spell editor: GitHub - stoneharry/WoW-Spell-Editor: A Spell Editor for WoW versions WOTLK 3.3.5, TBC 2.4.3, or Vanilla 1.12.1.

    Releases . stoneharry/WoW-Spell-Editor . GitHub

You can import any DBC files into MySQL using the above tool, and edit them with a GUI like Navicat, SQLyog Community Edition, or HediSQL. When you are ready to test your changes you export them into DBC files. The DBC files need to be updated in your emulator DBC folder, and a client patch needs to be created. If you using my spell editor it actually has an option to create an MPQ for you. The MPQ needs to live in your WoW data folder.

There are lots of tutorials out there on google, this forum, model-changing, etc. You can also ask questions in the WoW Modding Discord: WoW Modding Community

Thanks a bunch! If I have further questions or help find a tutorial can I just reply in here or should I open a new thread every time?
