Can connect via WAN but not LAN?
Do people even ask these question anymore? I feel like they don't. Anyway here goes.
So I was bored and decided to play around with privates. But since I'm in school more than I'm home, or just tired as **** when I'm home.
I've decided to upload the emu files to my server have it public, only for me to access it.
The good thing is I got it working publicly. But I can't connect to it if I'm on the same LAN.
My configs bind ip's are set to 0.0.0.0
And my realmlist table address field is set to the DNS and localaddress to 127.0.0.1
The ports are all open, but that doesn't matter considering it's LAN I can't connect to the server.
Please & Thank you.

Your modem/router needs to have port forwarding enabled & the required ports forwarded to the correct local IP address of your computer.
Also your realmlist table IP should be your public IP address.

To host through the Internet, you host through your external IP which people access your server with.
To host through LAN you need to use internal IP, some people set up a second realm that points to the same worldserver with a different realmlist.
For localhost, you need to use 127.0.0.1.
