Need help with Mangos server for 1.12.1

When I try to login and also I have made an account already and set it to GM and what it says when i try to login "Unable to validate game version."

Would really appreciate it if something helped

This means the server you are using doesn't match the client.

What repack are you running and what client version do you use?

I didnt have 1.12.1 client but im doing that now to see if that works and thanks

No problem,

Next time you should know if you run a 1.12.1 server you need that client otherwise it won't work. Please remember that, same goes for all other servers.

Ok i got into it now but when i get in, it starts updating and says i need to restart wow but when i press restart it failed to apply the patch

Change your realmlist.wtf in your WoW directory to your server's IP (probably 127.0.0.1 if it's local)

Change the contents with Notepad or something similar (NOT WORD) to:

set realmlist 127.0.0.1

Also never let your WoW patch.

Open notepad as administrator.

how do i do that? from the realm list or the actual notepad launcher?

Open notepad first with rightclick->Run as administrator then open realmlist.wtf on that notepad

oh and one more thing if you know how to do it. Can you change the xp rate with mangos?
