How to update custom content from another dev ?

Hi,

If I am being helped by someone to modify the systems, like chat system, death system etc...
He will have to modify the core with C++, right ?

Then how do I apply those updates ?

Let me give an example :

- I got a server I compiled myself using cMangos. I edit some DB stuff...
- Now I want my workmate to work on the loot system so we can loot some players' stuff when they're dead.

How do I proceed to let him work on the server ?

I don't know. I guess I have to put my server on a private code repository but how do you do that ?

For a Boss script for example, I should just download the script or copy the code, then follow a procedure I don't know.

Use GitHub, push changes to GitHub to sync them between all users and have an active changeset history...

The person running the server pulls the latest version from github, compiles it, uses that. Compiling updates regularly as required.
