try and keep the gold in the mailbox (multiple mails, the gold should be spread in smaller amounts) you must have more than one character for this, to exchange mails with gold attachment
another option would be to create multiple accounts and characters and spread the gold. this is a good option if you have a dynamic ip address

combine the both if you're afraid of being caught

really didn't play much for a while, i'm sure there are better options

well in that case it would be too much to spread the gold

6 million is a lot to hide, but i would make at least 2-3 accounts, with different IP if possible (if you have dynamic IP or go to an internet club, friends), make level 1 characters and send the money to those characters in equal splits

this way it would be harder to trace back if you use different IPs, but it's very easy to detect with sql queries

another way, harder to detect, but very risky because you are involving your main character:
    - make level 1 character on a different account, use perhaps other IP address if possible
    - send all the money there
    - using the level 1 character, send all the money back to where it came from, so that it remains in the mailbox of your main character, do not pick it up, leave it in the mailbox of your main
    - delete the level 1 character
    - if you get caught, they can't trace back the mail and you can say you don't know anything about that mail who was sent to you by "Unknown" (non existing character)

    hope it helped

Don't use mails, i think the best way to hide gold on private servers are guild vaults and items or if you have trustworthy friends just ask them to keep your gold and give them some too.

Guildbanks make 1 guild on each character on a single account. Noone is checking it unless you are playing on molten wow. Keep 1milion on a safe accounts with 1-3 chars.
