    [WTB] Working Pet Pathing (TrinityCore)

Willing to pay for a working Pet Pathing system, or even pay for a link to a working patch for the newest TC version (I got a link to a very old one that is very buggy...).
Only really has to work for Arenas, doesn't matter if it works outside Arenas.
Also might be interested in recruiting regular devs for a server project aswell (Arena-only with no gear restrictions/rogue damage buffs like there are on AT lol)

Why not make the pet follow the same path as the owner then run to the owners left?

Doesn't exactly help with the fact if you jump down a cliff, the pet would just fly straight after you instead of going to the nearest ramp to move down instead.
(Blade's Edge Arena as an example)

If pets are going to be as intelligent as to find a ramp, why wouldn't they just go kung-fu-panda-style down the cliff?

What you are looking for is a mmap (movement map) support in trinitycore. Try googling around for it, I saw a patch for it a while ago.

Yes I know what I am after and there is a fork from TC for MMaps but it is using very old core and is very buggy as it is right now (Works worse than without lol).

But you can fix pet pathing even without implementing MMaps (Arena-Tournament has pet pathing without mmaps)

https://github.com/TrinityCore/Trini.../commits/mmaps Official trinity branch for it. Should work better then nothing and there is really no way to tell if Arena-Tournament is using mmaps or not.

Yup just found out they added their own MMaps branch few days ago.

    *fingers crossed*

Need to get the WoW client files to my server first though
Anyone wanna help with uploading? Takes forever to upload 17GB with my 1Mbps upload!
