[Question] Where do I put .Patch files?

I recently got a C++ coded patch with a file format of .Patch, (don't mistake it for .mpq) Where do I put it in the files. I am using an Arcemu Repack and I see all these people saying go to your trunk.

WTF is the "trunk". I don't have a folder in my server files called trunk like them. So, were do I put the patch?

I only want to know where the trunk is because with it I can make my own changes to the Player.cpp script.

Repack. Code. Patch. C++. Player.cpp. trunk.

    That is 'trunk'.

Repacks do not come with trunk because they are the compiled binaries of it.

Trunk is the compiled source code before you compile it into a 'repack'.

You take a patch, put it in your trunk folder and then right click -> tortoise svn -> apply patch.

You can find many guides on how to do this on the official emulator pages as well as in the guides section.

    What do I win?

@OP, you can't apply source changes to a repack because a repack doesn't include the source of the emulator it's using.
You should look into compiling whatever emulator you're using on your own instead of using a repack.
