Really sorry for this question

I know there are a lot of threads made about this, but let's face it... there old

I have this repack for WoW 2.4.3 and i'm trying to make a privite server
ArcEmu for 2.4.3.exe - wow, private, server, 2.4.3, noob

I did everything it sayd here

And i managed to fix anything, but now i'm stuck again
When i open Arcemu-world.exe I get "unknown database arcemu"
When i open arcemu-login.exe i get "Unknown database characters"

Please help becouse i'm really looking forward to playing WoW with soma GM powa.. all alone... with no friends o_o ... not even pets o_o ... not even gonna use hamachi to play with anyone else o_o... just me... o_o

Your emulator is saying it can not find the databases you have specified in your configurations.

That link was of no help... Not even sure if that's for a repack, Says nothing about 2.4.3
and i don't have any files in my ArcEmu folder called
*_character_structure.sql

*_logon_structure.sql

*_world_structure.sql

If you can connect to the database via navicat/heidisql or something alike, make sure your database names are the same as in the login files.

Effectively, the server is saying "You're telling me to look in the fridge for my car keys.". The car keys are actually in a different place alltogether. To find where said "Car Keys" are, you must start the MySQL server, (probably community edition as it's a repack, find the MySQL start executable.). If you don't have navicat, go and download it now.

Got it? Good. Now. I assume the password for the MySQL server will be "ascent". create a new connection in Navicat with these settings:

Done that? Peachy.

Double click on your new connection WHILE YOUR MYSQL SERVER IS RUNNING.
It should bring up some databases. They will NOT have the same as mine pictured here:


Alright, you should have 3+ databases in your MySQL server. To find out which one is which, you will need to double click them until they go green. All the tables will show up on the right white box. The Logon Database will probably have a table called "accounts" in it. Find that one and remember the name.

Go into your repack folder, and find the .conf file called "logon.conf". Open it with notepad or any text editor like so:


(THIS WILL PROBABLY NOT LOOK EXACTLY THE SAME, BUT SIMILAR.)

Simply input the stuff you know in. I'm not going to write what goes where as it's common sense. Once you're done save it.

To find your char DB and world DB, open up another database. World DB will have a table called "items" and alot of tables, char will have a table called like "characters" if I remember correctly.

Remember those names and whip 'em into world.conf (should be in the same folder as logon.conf). It looks something like this:


Again, DIY.

Once you're done, save it. Load up logon then world servers and it should (tm) work.

I get it ,everything is and was as how you sayd it should be, but still it isn't working
I forgot to say that my repack is 7.8 not 7.4 but that doesn't matter

my characters and accounts are in logon in navicat

and my items are in ascent

the config files are made perfectly i'm sure, but the only thing now is that when i try to open ascent-realmserver.exe

It's telling you the username/password combination your using is incorrect.

Madcow... That ain't mine...
My SQL stuff is root/ascent =0
So is everything else... How do i see/change this and fix the problemo

Which? there's no MooCow in any of em, plus i open'd it on another PC that had nothing to do with me, Gets the same MooCow Error, Help... This is the last problem !

I'm assuming that this "moocow" is the creator of the repack.

Go into navicat, open up your connection to the mysql server, right click the connection and click "manage users".

Add user "moocow" password "moocow" host "localhost"

Only going on the basis that he will probably use his name for the password too.
