So 3.0.9 is a little outdated

And I don't think anyones gonna help me out if I'm running 3.0.9, I've been trying to find help on how to get updated to 3.3.X without loosing my database and all that. Sorry for the Qs, first server and I want to try to get everything running a little more smooth before trying to get other than beta players. Appreciate any help that might be thrown my way.

Try exporting your database as a SQL file. Just in case, also back the database up. You can then get a new core (3.3.5) and set up a server like how you did for 3.0.9, only this time, you import your old 3.0.9 database.

Oh yeah, I've got a 200 Terrabyte External with all my sql dumps and backups along with all the cofigs and all properly setup.
