Commands not working for me

I used this guide from here to setup a local sever for 2.4.3

I log in as gm but none of the commands work from the command list, like .account, .command, etc etc.

What am i doing wrong?

What do you mean, "they're not working"?
Does it say something like "Command does not exist"? or when you type it out, is it popping up in a speech bubble, like they're not going through at all.

If it's saying the command does not exist, then you might not be using the correct syntax, or your database is screwed up and you might need to find a new one.
If it is coming up in a speech bubble, it means you didn't correctly set your account to GM status.

I'm not too familiar with ManGOS, so those are the only things I can think of. You may need to find someone more experienced with that emulator.

You can type .help to see the available commands or you can look at chat.cpp to see the commands in the core.

I get the command does not exist error. The old think that works is help and that give me a list of commands but its not the full list. Im not sure whats wrong then. Could you recommend a better surver that works for 2.4.3?
