everythng works great its just i cant edit the password right from mysql, (i use heidisql). it looks literally like 342l5hk5jkhj5l4k5jh6l4k5jh643lk34jh634lkjh6 as the password, when it truely is "soccer". why is this? any way i can edit a password that will work through my sql?

passwords on mangos/trinity are encrypted in the database, there's a command to edit passwords (i just can't think of it right now)

They are encrypted in MD5 hash, there is a way to encrpyt password online, just google "MD5 encrypter", put that in the password, or ingame do .commands and they'll list all of them, and there will be something to do with accounts, should let you change the password.

As also hinted by the column name "sha_pass_hash" it is not a md5 hash but a sha1 of "USERNAME:PASSWORD".
