[MaNGOS] Cannot Log in when trying to make public

Im having a problem with making the server public i changed all the config files and in the database to my external ip, assuming that my external ip is the ip i get when going to a site like whatsmyip.com

then a person told me "To make mine playable from anywhere, i just change the ip's from local host (127.0.0.1) to empty strings "" then in the database realmd, make the ip your public ip."

And when i do that i can connect to the server just not the realm. Any ideas? thank you help is appreciated!

also tried many other configurations this one is mangos.conf set to my external ip realmd.conf set to empty string and realmd inside of mysql database set to external

Make sure you have allowed the programs access in windows firewall, and you dont have any anti virus software running.

If you could post your config files, and a screenshot of your RealmD database table please, ill be able to assist you further.
