Windows 7 doesn't work with Arcemu?

Hi, Today I finished installing Windows 7 onto my computer. So i get a Arcemu repack and I try running arcemu-logonserver. When i run it everything loads then it says Shutdown complete and the window closes. Does anyone know how i could fix this?

It's because you fail. Do you have net framework 4.0 beta installed? Win 7 only comes with 2.0 pre installed.

Also, make sure you have mysql installed.

It's still because you fail. You shouldn't be using repacks. It's because you're missing some visual C++ dependencies. Either install VC++, or download and install THIS.

This could be because of many things.

If all fails, do the "noob thing" and try and run as admin, or set compatibilty mode to XP maybe?

Do you mean that the server world loads, and then "program has stopped working" kind of scenario?

I'm currently running Win7 Ultimate 64bit edition.

Kirth, if he was using a repack that wasn't suited to be runnable it just wouldnt load full stop. You can also use the 2008 c++ version aswell.

& Chaosrde, i do not have a fix for this... i've tried searching for one but i just can't seem to find it. I think it may be windows 7 related to be honest.

Arcemu does work with Win7. I got mine working.

Mine crashed because the tables weren't up to date, the world server wouldn't even say that there was an error.. so check that over chaosrde.

I have Windows 7, works fine for me.
