    Multiple Questions (Hosting, then Lua)

Firstly, hosting. I have my server up, and I do plan on hosting a few people, but definetly not tons. I need an estimate on how many people I'll be able to host on "my" computer. I have no intention of getting a dedicated host, unless things get serious. So here are the two different CPU's and the RAM etc. Just give me an estimate on how many people I can host for each one. (It's time to get a new computer, so I'm figuring it out =])

    AMD Athlon™ LE-1620
    (Operates at 2.4GHz, 1024KB L2 cache and 2000MHz)

    8192MB DDR2 dual-channel (4 × 2048MB)
    8GB RAM

    Compared to:

    AMD Athlon™ X2 dual-core processor 4050e
    (Operates at 2.1GHz, 1024KB L2 cache)

    8192MB DDR2 dual-channel (4 × 2048MB)
    8GB RAM

    Estimates please =] +Rep!!

    Now lua question!
What's the command to reset talents from gossip?
In the ArcEmu Rev.2815 I can't find anything to reset talents, so I planned on making a guy, does anybody know the command and how to use it? Thanks again +Rep!!

I think you can script it to give you gold with LUA or C++, whichever you prefer. Then you can set the NPC flags in the creature_proto to have the option of resetting talents.

    Try these two:
    Trainer - 16
    Class Trainer - 32

If they don't work try using both Trainer and Class Trainer flags which would be: 48

Basically, make an npc that has the flag of a Class Trainer.
If that doesnt work then i don't know

Either server configuration would work, if you're just looking to host a few people it doesn't take a $3000 computer, but your download/upload speed is important. What you have will be more than fine.

For Lua, if Arc doesn't have a command to reset talents (and I doubt they do), then you'll have to use C++. You can try a new Lua engine, like Gastric's or LuAppArc, but I suggest you just go with C++.
