CPU keeps trying to update to 3.1

So my cpu runs my public (for a few friends) server over hamachi. It was up and running until today at which point everytime i log into WoW and I put my password and username in it starts the download for the patch.

Any way to stop WoW from trying to download the patch when I log in? My realm list HAS been changed.

CPU keeps trying to update to 3.1

    1. Your cpu isn't downloading WoW, WoW is downloading an update.
    2. In your realmlist just put set realmlist xxxx nothing else.
    3. Don't run launcher, run wow.exe

    Cheers.

make your realmlist look like this:
    #set realmlist us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com
    #set patchlist us.version.worldofwarcraft.com
    #set realmlistbn ""
    #set portal us
    set realmlist "IP_OF_YOUR_SERVER_HERE"

Dont launch with the launcher. Your CPU is the central processing unit. in other words Processor. You fail at computers srsly.

Make sure you change ALL in your Realmlist.wtf to set realmlist [Your server realmlist] .
make your realmlist look like this:
    #set realmlist us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com
    #set patchlist us.version.worldofwarcraft.com
    #set realmlistbn ""
    #set portal us
    set realmlist "IP_OF_YOUR_SERVER_HERE"
set patchlist makes your game download automatically the newest patch, because it sees you having an older version than blizzards realms have. So NEVER place that line UNLESS you go and play retail for some time.
