I am stuckzors with MySQL and other things I really need help. (HELP ME IM A n00b)

Basically i know how to follow instructions on the other parts of this guide but for these programs what do i do? Can someone throw me a guide here about this or tell me the steps on what i need to do I would really appreciate it. I heard great things about this private server set up, guy had massive good brain in his head and i really wanna try this omg please help ze noob D=
