Navicat error

When i go to connect to my server in navicat i get the error
"1045 - Access Denied for user 'root@localhost' (using password:YES)

Help please

Then your user isnt root or your password is wrong

try installing mysql again and make sure you remember your new user/pass

Generally it will be:

username
password

Code:

root
(leave blank)

root
ascent

root
mangos

If those don't work then... I don't know

Does your server start up fine?
