Help Needed with 1-player setup.

Look, I don't want to go public with a private server; I just want one that I can play single player, by myself, just me only.
I'm not looking for pvp, as I also intend to play retail; because my wife plays retail.
I've not seen anything here which says anything about letting me setup my own for just 1 player....any help with stuff needed?( I know about mysql, just need help with what else I might need).


edit: need 3.08,maybe 10-50x xp, etc.

(I'm autistic--asperger's syndrome, so social stuff is not a biggie for me)

o.O you can use all the guides to set up a SP server...

give me a sec and I will pull a guide for you, but you just have your realmslist set to connect to 127.0.0.1 after you have your emulater set up. Then make a copy of your original realmlist.WTF file and swap them out when you want to switch from your SP to your retail and vice versa.

I reckon I'm just dumber than your average rock....because i get to the navicat part and ....nothing.I'm missing something, some part that is not described in that guide......
