Problems Logging on to Server?

Alright, so I've went through my config files, I've modified them, uploaded the world database (the two are mixed anyways, I'm using Chrispee's Repack), and everything else, I boot up the .bat files and they work! Wow! This is near the farthest I've ever gotten with a private server (I made one working in 2.4.2, but it was never online anyways :P) so I go online, making sure that there was an account created and I had the right realmlist...

The information you have entered is not valid, it says, after Authenticating for 20 or so seconds.. I don't know what to do!

Please help me?

You need a character and logon database. Make sure that your version numbers are the same in your configs as when you start up World of Warcraft (bottom left hand corner)

Hmm, you don't need one, I've made sure of that beforehand.. Checking something about that next thing..

EDIT: Well, the version is indeed 3.0.3, and the client minbuild and maxbuild are both the same as in WoW 9183,

Lol you DO 100% sure need a logon and character database. That would be your problemo :O

Hmm, Odd. Chrispee and another person said you don't NEED one, and I have friends who run servers on 1 DB.

semantics. you need the authentication tables. you don't have to have them in a separate database.

Ah, they included them in the world database :P Why didn't you just say so?

Umm, if they're included, why won't it authenticate?!

And it does technically authenticate, and then tell me I typed something wrong after 20 seconds, but it is stuck authenticating for a long time.

Make sure you have the correct IP adresses and Ports in your configs. If the logonserver cant connect to the database / world server, it wont let you login.

World.config-

<LogonServer DisablePings = "0"
RemotePassword = "PASSWORD">

Make sure it says 127.0.0.1/24 If that doesn't work try 127.0.0.1/32
Also make sure your passwords are the same.

Well, they're both just like that, and in hosts it's fine, but I'm not trying to make an online server, and hosts has it linked as such, but I don't have a DNS as of yet.. Problem?
