Portforwarded a couple of ports but only few work

Well I went to Open Port Check Tool and i typed in 80. That didn't work.

Then i typed in 3306 and that worked. And then i tried 8050.. And it didn't work.

    80 gave me timed out
    3306 gave me success
    8050 gave me refused.

What could possibly be wrong ?

Hmmm.. Don't sue fail tools. America is lazy as screw. Navigate to your internal router IP and do it that way. If you need more info, post back.

hmm, i dont know much about that site?

the port forwarding.. are you doing it yourself or is the site doing it for you?

if the site is then put your internal IP into your URL and add them that way, there are many guides on the internet too.

if you personally are adding them, what are you forwarding them as? as im pretty sure they need to be both FTP and UDP.

hope this helps, if not then im sorry XD

if im completley wrong then /backHand me

Site is just checking if ports are open.

I forwarded them myself and not even my ISP could help me. I hate this I guess I'll just work on some other server instead of having my own.

Most ISP's block the common service ports such as 80 and 21. Most likely your ISP is blocking port 80 which would explain why you got a "time out". The "connection refused" indicates an active refusal which generally is indicative that the packets passed any firewall and reached the server but were refused.
