IP Address changes after portforward?

Hi i got a problem i enter all the Portforward things and then i do save and exit. After my router is done rebooting my IP Address is changed. Anyone know why it changes or know how to fix it plz help. My server wont go up if cant get the IP Address to stay the same

Its cause you have a Dynamic IP address..Look up creating a static one in google.. or use a No-ip one.

You can contact your ISP and ask if you can get a static IP address, and see if it costs anything... it usually does.

If you register a DNS at Dyndns.org for your server, they provide a tool, that you keep running, which will monitor your IP as it changes to ensure that your DNS always redirects to your server.

is No-IP.com a Static IP?

No none of them are static.. but no-ip.com also has a tool you can download that will update your Ip to it..

Sites like NOip.com and others give you a domain name such as Tylerlyn.noip.com or something which THAT domain name is forwarded to your computer...

You need a static IP to keep your ip for a long time, other wise it restarts every so often.
