Hey all,

I stumble upon this site from trying to google Burlex and wow emulator. Apprently it seems that with recent events his source of scripting became private. I was wondering if I could get a copy of his script when it was opensource. I am trying to learn to code and i thought it would be a good idea to look at it and possible try to fix some stuff. I have a little background in Python and will start learning C, or C++ soon. If anyone can direct me with a little how to guide it would be great I will try to read as much as possible here. I just want to get the programs, scripts so i can start debugging things because i find it intresting.

After three to four weeks of experimenting with source code, and my own custom scripts, anything seems possible to me now, If you have a good head for programming, i suggest starting with a simple gossip npc script, learning how it works, then revising the source code for commands =]

I think he was looking for an emulator based off of Burlex's code, but yes MaNGOS is a pretty decent emulator now even though its a learning project

I`d go with ArcEmu if ye wanna get a good Emulator, MaNGOS if ye wanna learn :P I personally don`t really like MaNGOS, but I hear its good for starters and whatnot
