- This bot is against Blizzards terms of service and is intended for learning purposes
- Source code will likely be released in the future
- Currently only works for Burning Crusade, more versions will be supported in the future!

Setup:
- Run EggoBot.exe with Admin privileges
- Please run EggoBot within its folder, creating a shortcut is fine
- Fishing pole needs to be set on Key #1
- Change your ingame settings to match the settings listed below for best
results
- IMPORTANT resolution needs to be set to 1024x768
- NEEDS to be in windowed mode
- Note this currently only works on BC version 2.4.3, it
will not work on any other version

You could possibly run it without admin privileges, but for best results I’d suggest running with admin privileges.

if its pixel based why only works on BC?

Because currently the colors are pre-selected to work for BC, different versions of wow work slightly different and currently the bot does not have an interface to allow you the user to change those pre-selected values. Hopefully within the next few weeks ill have an update allowing you the user to change those pre-selected values so you may use the bot on whatever version of wow you so choose.

May I remind you though, that the bot is in BETA and was released early primarily to test the bots core functionality, at least that was my initial intentions.

Please consider adding color support and sound support, so that it can be used for other games as well. We haven't had a decent fishbot in years for Rift, and I wouldn't mind seeing an update for one to work on Trove and Minecraft as well. I am sure others can name other games that they would like to see support for.

It’s primarily because EggoBot creates files on your computer like “.BMP” images “.txt” files, and we also have an update features which will install the latest update automatically without admin privs the bot might not function right. I haven’t tested the bot without admin privs but if it makes y’all feel better I'll post a virus scan hopefully that'll help.

Here's a sneak peak of the next upcoming version of EggoBot, which will Include the following features:
- More support for different versions of wow
- Customize the fish bobber color / location
- A Setup video will be included
- Customizing the fish scanning field (AKA area mouse moves on screen)

It needs admin privileges likely due to it needing to interact with another program and to send keys and mouse presses. Without the admin rights it cannot do it.

Waiting patiently for release to where I can try this on other games. Would love options to completely customize and to save profiles.

Profile customization is a great idea zycamzip and something I want to add in the future! Since this next update will include some customization options ill be adding a 'saving' feature as a band-aid solution until I can get a good profile system up and running. Hopefully next week ill have EggoBot v1.5.0 ready for release, no promises though school has been keeping me fairly busy, but the wait will be worth it because it'll be packed with a ton of stuff that unfortunately didn't make the bots initial release.
