Cant Make server public without Hamachi

Alright Ive read every guide out there to make server public without hamachi, but it will not let me, I try to save hosts in c:\windows\system32\etc\hosts wont let me says no path, I figured it out, then I changed everything to my ip and not hamachi ip and when I start up logon server it didnt work it just went off, if any one could help me I would appreciate it! Thank you. Also my website for my server works but when I try to go to account creation for my server it only works on my comp and not on any one elses... even with hamachi on

if u dont use router (like me i am using modem 15mbit speed:P) just do the follow steps...

1st) Make a DyDns account and register a host name with ur ip

2nd) copy ur ip thing

3rd) Runsystem32 go to drivers then to ETC and then to host

4th) under ur 127.0.0.1 make ur ip withthe name of ur host

5th) do the same here (only if u dont have router) or else use ur external ip!
