Yes this is because you need to make sure of the following:

WAMP is fully online and all the services are running, to make sure of this the bar should be fully white and the gauge should be full. Make sure it is online.

Secondly, make sure you have entered the correct details for the account.php, have you configured it to match your database and IP details for it to enter the account. This must be done to make it work.

There is guides around that show you what each line should have in it, it can be confusing..

    Hope that helps.

    @ Romis

This is because you need a password, you can add a password by clicking on the WAMP gauge in your toolbar and clicking phpmyadmin. Then when that loads up click on Privelages, which will be near the bottom somewhere, then edit the settings and make sure it has a password!

    Hope that helps.

Right, you need to reinstall WAMP, do not change any of the details, not the email or the host, just keep clicking next!

    That should help..

And thanks for the comments people, keep them coming!

I am not to sure mate, but if you have windows you have a firewall, this helped me follow these steps:

Go to Windows Firewall, enable it / turn it on.

Go to, allow games or whatever or add port on XP.

Enter a name for it, it can be anything " http " etc.

Then type in the port number text box " 80 "

Then make it a TCP in the options below.

And add the port, apply, save etc.

It should then work! Be public etc!

Many thanks go to me and Puff for that!

Yes, that happened to me when I installed, what you need to do is reinstall and just keep clicking next, do not change any of your settings.

That includes the host and email near the end..

I started WAMP5 then I place everything in it config the account.php=

    $lang="en"; // Language ("en" - english, "ru" - russian)
$title="WoW Server"; // Insert the title of your server here
$host="127.0.0.1"; // HOST for Character database
$user="root"; // USER for Character database
$password=""; // PASS for Character database
$db="character"; // NAME of Character database
$hostr="127.0.0.1"; // HOST for Logonserver database
$userr="root"; // USER for Logonserver database
$passwordr=""; // PASS for Logonserver database
$dbr="database"; // NAME of Logonserver database
    $database_encoding = 'CP1251'; // Set encoding
    $img_base = "img/"; // Image dir
    $server = "127.0.0.1"; // Ascent Server Address
    $port = "8129"; // Ascent Server Port
    $lock_acc=0; // Lock created account to IP address (1 - on, 0 - off)
$lock_reg=0; // Registration only one (or more) account from one IP address
    // 0 - not limit, 1 - one acc, 2 - two acc, etc...
