[Tutorial] Find Any and All display ids in WoW

Not sure if this is a repost but i'll just go on anyways

Im going to show you how to find display ids of items that aren't included in the game and different textured items.

    Programs needed.
    What to do.

    1. Well First off, open up the model viewer you installed. Then you should see a window pop up with things like

    Cameras
    Character
    Creature
    Environments
    Interface
    items
    Particles
    Spell
    Spells
    World

    2. Click on Item > ObjectComponents > (it brings up a list, pick weapons if you want to make a weapon, shoulder if you want a shoulder, and so on)

    3. It will bring up a list of things like,
Axe_1h_blood_a_03 (I shall be using a weapon in this guide)...it brings up a lot.

    4. Just view the models until you find one thats cool. and for example I think Sword_2h_Auchindoun_d_01 is pretty cool...

    5. So now, Open up mywarcraft studio and Click on the little folder icon at the top .

    6. Select the patch Patch - enUS;These mpqs should be located in the folder enUS of the WoW data folder.

    7. After you open the mpq in mywarcraft studio, it brings up a list of

    DBFilesClient
    Interface
    Sound

    8. Click on DBFilesClient then find the file called Itemdisplayinfo.dbc.

    9. It brings up a window, notice in the top right corner you can search for item displays.

    10. Type in the "link" to the item...like above i said Sword_2h_Auchindoun_d_01 was cool....so i would typ that in.

    11. It then searchs for the item, after that the item display model should be highlighted (well the whole row will)

    12. Look at the left and you see a column of numbers. those are the display ids!

    13. Then just write down the number that is highlighted, and bam make some gear or weapons.

Tips: If it doesnt find the right display info, click the next button.

*Note* If it doesnt bring up anything or doesnt look like its searching for anything then the model doesnt exist because the model viewer has ones that arent in the dbcs.

By the way...if any moderator reads this or anything...any chance you can change my username to Clain
