Adding Custom Items
The Easy Way!

INTRODUCTION
This tutorial will TRY to show you an easy way to add customized items to your server.

Im not sure about Mangos, but I did this on Ascent (assuming Antrix does the same too.).

DOWNLOADS NEEDED
HeidiSQL - SourceForge.net: Downloading ...
A Server DATABASE of course!

Creating The Items
Visit WoW Vendetta - Wage Your War and goto the Tools and goto the Weapon Creator or whatever you want. Then open your Database in HeidiSQL, and look for your items database.

1.] Create the Item you want to add into the database (WoW Vendetta - Wage Your War)
2.] Look for the Items Database in your HeidiSQL program
3.] When you get to the database, move to the query tab, and copy the text that says [INSERT into items], make sure you have an item ID and display id for your item.
4.] Then reload your server. [Or if you have Ascent or Antrix, type .reload items on World of Warcraft.]

and thats it! You should have customized items in your game!

Display & Item IDs
Okay, I read up on some posts, and some people wanted to know about Display & Item IDs.

1.] When you create your item on (WoW Vendetta - Wage Your War); make sure it has a Display & Item ID. If it doesnt, it will either display incorrectly, or not spawn.
2.] To choose a Display ID, think of an item you want it to look like, such as thunderfury, or another item. Open HeidiSQL and open the Items Database. Now search for the item you want it to look like.
3.] Once you find the item, look under the category, Display ID and get the number of the item you want it to look like.
4.] Then set that display ID as the one you want.
5.] If you want an item ID, i suggest using [1000000-9999999], those numbers aren't used at all.

well i was trying to use wow-v but whenever i download the batch it is saved as an http document any help?

LOL. This is like the 5th guide i've seen:

Step one: Go to wow -v and make an item

Step two: find a real guide in puting it in.

Great guide, I have my wep. made now the only thing i need help with is that my weapon appears as a checkered cube. i am using the right displayID I am sure, i double checked. any help please? Thanks +rep

Ok, I got it working...But When I tried to create my weapon, somehow it messed up MaNGOS...and Now I have to make a private server again *Sigh*

whenever i make a weapon/armor on the website for antrix, i send it to the owner and he puts it on. i get the id on thottbot and when i try it in game, the weapon is in a cube and the armor doesnt show. also the icon you see in your bag is not the right icon. like a sword would look like a bag or something. please help me

For making them in Navicat, go to you Server on the left (Should be named Antrix) and select "Execute Batch File..." Then select the batch file from the item you created from wow-v.com.

The most common error is not putting in a high enough Entry # when making the Item... select a number over 20k to be sure
