Hey... i got a problem.. my stepfather(my mothers new husband) forgot the password for our router, so how am i supposed to find the password? any tricks or anything to get the code??

okay, when i change the stuff you wrote thtat i should change, it won't even let logonserver.exe run more than 5 secs, then it exits before it gets to say hooking signal...
So what couldit be ? please answer fast, got some friends waiting..

When I go to log into my server after following your setup. I get an error message that says "Unable to connect to Realm List Server" . If you know what could cause this please inform me. Thanks

I got a problem..
I can connect, but my friends cant :S please help me.

Go to Start, My Computer, C:/WINDOWS/System 32/Drivers/Etc/Hosts.

Right click on Hosts. and go to Open. scroll down to Notepad, and click ok. It should open up, and you should see

I have no file named Hosts in that directory

I don't understand why everyone is having such a hard time with this. This tutorial lays it out perfectly! I followed each step, didn't try to take any shortcuts, and got my server up and running in only a few minutes! This is a great tutorial! Thanks a million!

guys i have managed to get my server up and running. although i dont seem to be able to go multiplayer. i dont want to set it up online just yet but i do want to just go on with my mates via lan. it seems to register that they are there but everytime they go to log into the realm it goes to the charactor selection page and then goes straight back out again. can any of you help me please i really want to get this working. thankyou

hi again i think i have almost got this working i have managed to do everything but when i went into the configure hosts part i couldnt do it as there was no file. it also says when i try to load antrix that "carnt connect to mysql server on 'ptolomy.is.dreaming.org' (10060) " i get the feeling that it is one tiny detail. please can you get back to me asap thankyou

i got this message when i try log on to my WoW account on my server. ive done everything as it said. but keep gettins this failure message 'Cannot Connect to server realm list'. What the F*** is wrong? :[ please help.

When i put in the DynDNS host i created at the places wehre 127.0.0.1 should be, i cant complete my Antrix and Logonserver.exe anymore, it wont connect to my SQL database, but when i put 127.0.0.1 everything works out perfectly.
does anybody knows whats the problem?
and something else, when created an host on DynDNS, can i just close the site and it will work or do i have to leave something on to make the DynDNS host work?

Deadpunisher, the DynDNS site doesnt have to be up for the DynDNS host to work. I am 99% sure. where exactly do you put in 127.0.0.1? You are supposed to put it in, Antrix.conf: <Database Hostname = "DynDNS Here" Username = "root" Password = "pswrd" Name = "antrix" Port = "3306" Type = "1"> ! Logonserver.conf:<LogonDatabase Hostname = "DynDNS Here"
Username = "root"
Password = "pswrd"
Name = "Antrix"
Port = "3306"
Type = "1"> ! And realmlist.conf:
<Realm1 Name = "SomeRealm"
Address = "DynDNS Here:8129"
Icon = "PvP"
Colour = "1"
Population = "1.0"
TimeZone = "1">
and one more file in realms.conf:
<LogonServer Address = "DynDNS Here"
Port = "8093"
Name = "Default Logon"
RealmCount = "1">
And that should be it. But remember to change that file in logonserver.conf: <Listen Host = "0.0.0.0" <------ **that must be 0.0.0.0**
ISHost = "0.0.0.0"
RealmListPort = "3724"
ServerPort = "8093">
If ur not getting connected dont ask me. I tryed atleast Hope it helps m8.
