ERROR:Incorrect DataDir value in mangosd.conf or not found build info (outdated DBC files). Required one from builds: 11159 Please extract correct DBC files.

Sound simple but i'm sure that my dbc files are from a 3.3.0 (11159) client...

Have you set DataDir = "." in mangosd.conf and realmd.conf?

and my DBC folder is in the same folder.

One other noob question. Could you tell us how to update this. I mean ... get the latest mangos/UDB stuff and recompile/setup everything the right way

After following the guide closely I have run in to some problem when I'm restoring mangos DB from sql dump. More specifically when I am applying the updates, I managed to restore all of the required ones except 384_corepatch_mangos_8587_to_8734. I instantly get an error when i try to execute it saying:

Error occured at:2010-01-17 19:27:43
Line no.:2
Error Code: 1054 - Unknown column 'required_8573_01_mangos_mangos_string' in 'db_version'

Query:
ALTER TABLE db_version CHANGE COLUMN required_8573_01_mangos_mangos_string required_8589_01_mangos_creature_template bit

No clue on whats wrong or how to fix it, would appreciate any kind of help on the matter.

Go To Your MaNGOS dbversion table and see whats the last table name , and sql dump from the number above that order, in the manogs updates sql's

ive been working with the p servers again for the past week i ahve 1-3 repacks i use that are working.... my problem is with this guide im trying to use the mangos to test it out guide looks great my problem is in order for u to get into navicat u have to start up mysql IE from the repack folder ur servers from using that mysql startup my navicat loads up fine but when compiling stuff liek this it says to open up ur program u use Like navicat and do whatever needs to be done there..... my thing is i get the error when trying to connect .... i dont see anywhere in here to start mysql up like in a repack befor eu connect to ur sqllog program....... other then that my other repacks work fine but i relaly like to get this up and figure it out lol...... plz help i load up navicat and try to connect and i get the mysql known error.... due to mysql not being loaded i think thats it ... is there a way to open mysql up from this mangos folder that has been compiled plz help thanks

in This Guide you learn how to install mySql , and configure it for your self , and trust me its much better that you compile your own and install your own software.


i don't have any experince in repacks myself. but then again i never needed it.



if there is a way to start mysql without having to install the software then i hope you find it

okay its so simple to go public iwht hamachi with arcemu everyone has these guides to change 3-8 thigns but all u ahve to do is change your realmd realm1 ip to the hamachi ip ... lol anyway is there a way to setup mangos to use hamachi as i use hamachi for my own concerns but will soon not be using it i only have 3-4 people gonna connect threw hamachi for now .. but is there any way to do it with mangos i cant find anything aroudn here let me know and thanks everythings looks detailed enough soo i got half way threw it but had to stop ima finish this up .... and let u know how it runs Thanks again and heres some +Rep for the Nice guide
