[Guide] Make Large Go Objects Work Properly!

I know I'm not the only person who has ever run into this problem and I know others have been looking for a way to be able to use those extra large GoObjects such as the Terrokar Treehouses and Stormwind city and make them work without them disappearing when you try and run around in/on them. Well here is a quick and simple step by step guide on how to make them work, pics included

    Things you will need:

    1. Your own ArcEmu Server (of course)
    2. Navicat or Heidisql

[Guide] Make Large Go Objects Work Properly!

Step 1 - Log into WoW and go to the spot where you want to spawn the Large GoObject.

Step 2 - Spawn the Go Object and then type .gps and write down the mapID and the x, y & z coords (you will need these in a second)

Step 3 - Open up Navicat or Heidisql and go to the table "worldmap_info"

Step 4 - Add a new row by clicking the "+" icon on the top left side of the screen as shown below.

Step 5 - Fill in the following info in this order:

    Code:
Entry - Use any number thats not being used yet. I suggest a number from 800+
as long as its not being used already.
ScreenID - The mapID you got from Step 1.
    Type - "0"
    Maxplayers - "0"
    Minlevel - "1"
    Minlevel_Heroic - "1"

---We'll get to the "repop" x, y & z coords in a second so skip these for now---

    Repopentry - "0"
Area_name - Fill in a name here that you will remember for that specific
item/area where you spawned the Large GoObject.
Flags - "1" if its a regular world map or "3" if its inside of an instance.
    Cooldown - "0"
    Lvl_mod_a - "0"
    Required_quest - "0"
    Required_item - "0"
    Heroic_keyid_1 - "0"
    Heroic_keyid_2 - "0"
ViewingDistance - Here is where you make the object work. Enter a number
between 200.0 to 1000.0 depending on the size of the Large GoObject
you have spawned, ie; Terrokar Trees = 200.0, Stormwind = 1000.0
    Required_checkpoint - "0"

Step 6 - Write the x, y & z coords you got from Step 1 in the columns "repopx", "repopy" & "repopz"

Now just restart your server and when you log back in you should be able to run all through your newly spawned Stormwind or Terrokar Tree or whatever Large Go Object you may have spawned

Hope you enjoyed the Guide and that it was easy to follow.

I searched the web to see if anyone had posted a guide for this yet and came up with nothing so I thought I would write one myself to help those who may want to spawn some very large objects and couldn't get them to work properly.

    I only wrote the guide.

ALL credit for figuring this out in order to get the objects to work goes to Evelence the owner of DarkMoonWoW who figured this out while setting up our soon to be live server

Dont forget to +Rep If this helps you pl0x

You just need to change the view distance column in worldmap_info.. And what's up with being repwhore? No, asking for +Rep is not allowed.

Not trying to be a +Rep whore, but when people complain so much about not getting +Rep for things that they've tried to contribute and complain about soooo many leechers you would think that they would be a little more compelled to actually give +Rep to those who at least try and contribute something to the community in order to become an active part of it -.-

Also, as far as changing the view distance for the entire area, I tried that as well but for large Gob's such as spawning the entire city of Stormwind it still wouldnt work for me unless I changed the view distance coords in the worldmap_info table to the exact coords of the spot where the object was spawned. Even if that did work just changing the view distance for the entire area could essentially cause much more lag then just making a new entry and changing the view distance of where you spawned the object.

granted it is a repost but it is a lot more detailed and easier to understand and the only thing u say about viewing distance is
"You can also try gonig into Worldmap_info and choosing the MapID on which it is located and going to View distance and choose somthing like 500+
