[Guide] How to setup forums on your DynDns account

Requirements of this guide:

You have wamp setup and running
You have DynDns "domain"

If you dont meet requirements then you shouldnt bother.


1. Download phpBB

1.1 Extract the files to your www folder.

Create a new folder to your www folder named: forums

Extract the content of the .rar to your forums folder.


2. Installing phpBB

Go to http://<your.dyndns.xxx/forums> and follow the instructions.

When it comes to the database settings open up SQLyog,Navicat or whatever you use as your mysql GUI

Create new database called: forums

Enter forums to the database name form.


If everything went well then congratulations you set up your own forums!


Now you just gotta start configuring your forums =)
