How to let others access your database

Get heidisql in my other guide How to make custom items
1.Open up heidisql
2.There is a little man in the right hand corner
3.It should say User-Manager
4.Fill it out
User: (What they want)
Host: Keep it as it is
Pass: (What they want)
5.Check All Privealages
6.Hit add user
7.Tell them to open up heidi and The host thing they put ur hamachi ip
user what they told u
pass what they told u save+connect

I think you will also have to enable root acces from MySql Configuration Instance.

my friend now says she cannot connect.. she has same username and every thing but it says that the connection name is already being used. Any ideas why?
