Seems it would be possible to make a new race in addition to the others. Obviously it can't be made via the WoW client, but could you make like a "Change Race" option on a website to change DB entries.

It seems plausible to me, but the main concern would be..would their client crash at their character screen upon loading?

I wonder if anyone has tried it that way..

Well you could also hack the client and add it so you can access it via the normal way.
Like I've made once....(but it needs much knowledge about the client^^)

There are files for Vrykuls, Skeletons, Naga, Broken, Fel Orcs and quite a few more races in the game. It would be interesting seeing a server with all custom races.

this should work on any core right? arcemu, mangos, ascent?

also, can anyone go into further depth on the whole creating a FULL custom race? inserting new lines into the DB to create both female/male skins, creating custom spells, etc.

or is there a guide i missed when i searched?

There's also a naga one, but the female naga shoulders are f*cked up cause of their four arms.

for me i changed all the display ids for trolls orcs and gnomes and dwarfs...
restarted my server etc
and they are still the same old same old???
