[Release]Deathshift's Repack, and more

Hey guys, I've been a member of this site for just over a year, as a leecher, (ya i know =p)

But I decided that i will contribute to the site a little bit and release my repack (so to speak)

This server consists of my old server i used for quite a few people.
The features include:

-Start with T6
-lvl Cap 500
-Start with all skills
-Custom lvling area with bosses
-Custom starter gear
-Malls in Major cities (Storm, Org)
-Portals to all cities on GM Island
-Custom gear,weps
and much more!

Okay lets get started!

First, click this to download the server:

MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service

Once downloaded extract it to C:
so it will look like C:/Server


Once extracted open the folder.
Note, you will see a folder and 2 SQL Notepad files
like so:


Open the Repack folder
and you will want to edit the CONF files

First you will want to edit logonserver

Then open realms


Then finally world




Once you have these all configured, and ready you will want to execute "Open MySQL" in the Ascent folder and wait a few seconds for it to start. (Make sure you dont have another MySQL service running or it will crash)

once you have opened the MySQl .bat, open Logon and World, order matters not =]


Let them load, and when they are done loading thet will look a alittle something like this:


Also, dont forget to change your realmlist.wtf file!



Viola! you have a server running in your own home!

Now How to add accounts and get custom weapons on your server.

For adding accounts, its fairly simple, you need a program like Navicat(What i will be using in this tut.)

Okay first you need to open Navicat, or what ever you are using and locate your logon database.

Double click the logn database to activate it and once activated locate accounts and open that table.
Adding accounts is fairly simple, just fill in account name, password, priveledges, and flags-(set to .

Now for adding custom items/gear/weps

Navigate to
WoW Vendetta - Wage Your War
Ill be showing how to create a sword.

Click the crossed swords on the top toolbar of the site
and it will open a page like this one here

Here you can fill in the weapon's name, quote, displayID, entryID and more
Scroll down a bit for more:

here you can do even more like damage, resists and item stats.
scroll down even further for more options:



Once you have all your options filled in and whatnot scroll down to the bottom and click Submit.

When you click submit ti will open some things at the bottom like this:

Just download it to your desktop and there you have it, a custom weapon.
Thats not all though, ill show you how to add it to your server.

Open Navicat and oepn your world database, (in this repack its ascent)
Open it and right click it and then click "Execute Batch File"

Clcik that and a small box should appear, with some options, follow these directions:


It should finish in afew seconds and when it does just close everything and restart your server, and your done!

edit: if this rly works i'll give you 2 rep 0_0 iv been trying to make my own server again for a long time since i deleted my old one
edit#2: it didnt work... thanks for not telling us what patch the core is... its not 2.4.3 so i just wasted a good 30-45mins on that... if ur ganna come begging for rep atleast give us the patch

Looks like a good guide, but when I try to start the MySQL, it says using password:YES. And I've tried reconfiguring my MySQL stuff but it wont apply security settings. And help?

Laxman, I've had this problem many times and I figured out why...in series of test.

I suggest first going to Start > Run > type cmd Then type in sv delete MySQL.

Then delete the folder completely and it should work (this is how I fixed it)
