Getting you server public WITH OUT HAMACHI (The Noob Guide's)

Getting your server up not USING HAMACHI!!!!

[SIZE="4"]What do I need
-no-ip No-IP - Dynamic DNS, Static DNS for Your Dynamic IP
-xampp XAMPP - Free software downloads and reviews - CNET Download.com

No-ip
-Click the hyperlink
-click new account
-enter all your correct info including email
-click the tab your no-ip
-under host/redirects click add
-any name click DNS host (A) and click create host and your done with that

-Xampp
-click the hyperlink
-download Xampp
-run installer
-select ur luanguage
-click next next then when u se the boxese check install mysql and apache click install
-wait for it to install when its done click finish 2 exes should pop up leave em alone
-when its done go to c:\xampp\htdocs leave it open then
-download these 2 files

-extract them to c:\xampp\htdocs open the index.php with any word document program and program it make a copy of it if u mess up
-now exit out

-END
now refresh xampp about every 2 hours and for people to acess ur server you need xampp to be on for the site to be on

i have a couple questions,
1. Do you not need to edit any of your config files? because almost every other guide i've found has told me to edit my config files
2. i've followed all the steps and it didn't work, but i am unsure what this line means

do i need xampp running for people to log into my server?
or is it just to have the website running?
and also my website still works even if xampp isn't running

You must edit your config files to your site i forgot to menchution that when i get the time ill put it in, yes you need xampp running for peeps to acess your server hmm maybe you edited your config files wrong or something, if this helped you please +Rep only 1 more till higher rank XD

ok...my realmlist is sancwow.servegame.com but i dont know where to put that in my .conf files!!! And when i try to start up xampp i get this...













and i think this may be linked to when i rey to run mysql in the xampp it says Mysql [3006 or whatever the default port is) ....busy.... any help pls?
