when i try to exicute the world.sql i get this error

what you have to do it delete the slot on navicat/msql and make a new one+Repme :wave:

can you give me a format for the My Computer>CDrive>Windows>System32>drivers>etc>Hostname?

Thanks mate, This an awesome tut.. saw some others but this is the best i ever saw.

Sadly i got some problems.. i added the ports.. changes the host name in the C drive.
Did all what you said.. now i went to open the World.exe+Login.exe.

World.exe says
" Authenicating....
Authenication timed out. "

And keeps trying to loggin again, And keep saying that all the time...
if i try to Run the game and login.. i see no realm.

Question: What do i type in the realmlist.wtf ? i typed 127.0.0.1

Hi when I go to my rauter i cant find "Foward Ports" any other way i could do it?

and when i turn on Ascent-world. i get an error
"MAJOR ERROR/WARNING:
One or more of the DBC files are missing.
These are absolutley necessary for the server to function.
The server will not start without them."
What should i do?

Lol! First off all: In your thread you say "Apple's Ascent V3" and when you download the file it says "Apple's Ascent V2.5"? Second: I doubt that this is a repost..

hey, try to clear out the database and execute the batch file again, if you notice the " [Err] 1050 - Table 'account_data' already exists" its kinda self explainitory

im having the same problem as Nicolis (- the error).. ive done all the stuff you've said.. might it be that this is NOT a 2.4 game type? if so, do i need to re install World of warcraft to "degrade" the game version?
