    Maybe im wrong but i though that when new patched come out you dont just have to change the max and min client build but also all the database tables to the newest ..... :P

    Thats a way to get people to connect to your server who have updated to 2.4, but that does not update your server to gain 2.4 content.

    Tested 4 of my self compiled 4xxx trunk compiles, with client build on 9999 2.4 clients get stuck at Handshaking. I believe this is not a fault of mine, but changes in the client.

    not really...most people just get stuck on "Handshaking" so they cant get in...im not sure if it does this on ALL servers but i've tried it on my friend's and it was stuck on handshaking :\...
