So i managed to use navicat to fool the system into thinking it was on 22995. The only problem i've seen so far is there isn't any NPCs at the demon hunter starting zone.
Everything else seems to work fine so far, so i have absolutely nothing but praise for the OP. Hopefully this quality work can continue throughout legion. Good job

Hello, sorry for my dumb question, but when I try to open the 2_Login and 3_World files, they close instantly. I saw that other people had the same problem, I read the posts of this topic and I did not find a solution.
How can I solve this problem?

How did you fool it into thinking you had a different version?

You dont fool it into thinking you are running a different version, you change this by going into your mysql database with something that can edit it (like Navicat) go into auth -> realmlist -> then change the version at the end of the table to the version your client is running. However be mindful that if there are any major changes between client versions this could cause issues as far as I know.

You can also use this to change information about your server. Back up your information first then play around in there, its quite fun.

Make sure you meet the requirements listed in the OP. Do you have any errors to give more information? Im sorry but instantly closed isnt enough to work from. All i can say is check you meet the requirements, and that you have installed it correctly.

Which client do i need? I downloaded the last wow version from battlenet 7.1.0 (23222). I can choose an account, but when im on the realmlist, it shows the server and says Incompatible.

Download the latest official client from Battle.net or use World of Warcraft downloader. If you use the official client you will likely have to correct the version the server is compatible with by editing the realmlist using a mysql editor like Navicat. Like you would have found out if you read up literally 2 replies ago.

in console says the account already exists, but in game login screen the account is invalid.

hi i managed to get this extracted and updated which i had to do manually using navicat since the update.bat didnt seem to work for me and now i can launch the 1_Database.bat and 2_Login.exe no problem but when i launch the 3_World.exe it instantly closes and when i check the Server.log it just says:

I cant connect to my server, i was trying to change from offline to lan using single core ip patcher and it has an error that states that i need to launch the server, but it was already running i need a reply ASAP it states that it cannot connect to mysql

It may be dumb question, but how much RAM do I need to run the server?
Is 4 GB enough?
