[EMU] Exploit: Free Darkmoon Faire Decks

Hi everyone :wave:!

I will explain how to "create" decks which actually work so you can return them and get the reward..also a way to make gold twocents with them

What you need:
------------------
1. To be at least lvl 55 (I'll Explain that later)
2. Cheat Engine

Now to make something clear.
This could prolly work on retail/live servers but i dont have the balls to try it.

If you want you can try and confirm that it works in this thread.

Now i want to answer a question most of you have right now.."Why i MUST
be at least level 55?"
Well the awnser is simple..The deck quests needs you to be at least level
55 so if you are not the quest accept window will not appear at all.

Make sure you have a Hearthstone in your bag and open Cheat Engine.
Open WoW with it and search for 6948 which is the ID of your Hearthstone
(you can use any item but lets stick with this one)

After a while Cheat Engine will give about 130-200 results.Select all the
addresses found and add them to the address list (press the red arrow
button). After that select all the addresses from the address list,
Right-Click and select "Freeze all adresses in this list" from the popup menu.

With the adresses still selected Right-Click again and select "Change
record->Value". Now type in the ID of the deck you want. In this example
we will create the Warlord Deck so type in 19257.

Now just Right-Click the Deck in your bag (where the hearthstone
previously was) and accept the quest. You can now close Cheat Engine
and safely complete the quest since for some reason when you accept the
quest you will get a valid copy of the deck (how convenient :P).

Now in case you want to make some money easy (since the wrap dupe
exploit is fixed in some servers 0.o) you can sell the newly created deck at
a vendor then abandon/retake quest and repeat. Its sells for 10g
each,which is a fair amount for your trouble (and advanced users could
prolly make a bot for this with a third party tool which is very cool :P)

This will prolly work with most quest items if you meet the requirements of
the quest..


Warning:
----------------
This will NOT work any other way since what we do is client
side..we just trick the game to give us the quest..
You cannot create epic items or anything similar!

Not for real. The only reason my exploit works is because for some reason a new valid deck is created after you accept the quest.

No i'll make this clear, this exploit will ONLY work with some items that GIVE
quests. Such as the decks. The reason for this is that after you accept the
quest a valid copy of the items is created while the "hacked" one will return
to its previous state after you close Cheat Engine/Logout etc.

You could do this with items such as Onyxia's Head or other drops from bosses such as the quest item dropped from Kael'Thas in that case, correct?

This didn't work for me. The first time i tried, i did everything as you said (got 163 results, froze em, changed em), and my hearthstone was still a hearthstone. 2nd time, i didnt get any results searching for 6948, but i did when i searched for 23678, as if it was already changed. any tips?

P.S. I was using OEngine rather than CE because i didn't want to get banned, but that shouldn't have changed anything.
