WPE Help with getting any item

So I came across this quest item, that when I used it, it gave me 3-4 of this other item, each time I used it. I recorded the packet and changed it to a different item that I didn't have, and in the chat logs, said "You create [item]" when I turn on the filter it actually said "You create [other item]" I check my bags but it was just the original item still. I was close to getting it, a little more help would be appreciated. It was a received packet by the way.

Probably because the server knows, and WPE is just telling you it has created an item, but in reality, the server stops that item from even being made.

My question to you is what private server expansion are you on? Also if you don't mind, tell us what server you are playing on?

In all honesty, it may be fixed, some people get stuff done before the fixes and what not.

It won't work, it doesn't work that way, firstly because the server has checks, so it checks if that actual item can create that item. and so on. no it won't work.

The only shot you have is if the server is laggy as hell and when you get/create an item it can get bugged to a point where it dupes its self without you knowing or by other means.
In the end you can't really get by server side checks, you gotta know your stuff if there are any holes within the server-side checks.

WPE is mainly for screwing around with spells, mobs and altering your name, hell even removing your name and or copying someone else without the use of an add-on.

Could I possibly cause myself to lag while trying this, and it dupes its self?
