[IDEA] WTF folder's

Ok, so I was sitting there thinking damn.... I wish I could get this (it was a wep) and I have it on another server on one of my toon's. So I know that things save in your WTF folder's such as cache's. So basically I wanna switch things around in my WTF folder's to get things from one server or realm to another onto a different toon. But I dont know if that would be safe or not, or if it would work. But I like the thought. I know your not supposed to ask question's but I had no idea where else to post this lol. So anyways, anyone know if this would work and any other side effects ide be looking at?

Items and such things are all serverside. So no, swapping your WTF folder would do absolutely no difference or harm

yea switching wtf folders wouldnt add the item to the server db

The characters and items on world of warcraft emulation servers are stored within the server's database, not within your world of warcraft client's folder so no, this would not work sorry :\

Character-related info player would break all logic. The Blizzard slaves with the fancy paper saying "I R ENGINEER, YO!" would most definitely have better methods of saving their information.

Almost all information about the worlds you play on is stored on the server's side of the line. Unless you have a master h4xxin' degree, you probably won't be tempering with that.

yes i tried this before many times the items,characters and such are controlled by the website database would have been awesome though.

So far i've gotten stats to change, then my WoW crashed and went back to normal.
Im still working at it though! lol
