Question about Hosting...

Hey guys!

Please help me on this one. I know I'm a "leecher" but I just now got on for the first time.

ANYWAY

I am trying to host a private server for some friends and I.

I've configured everything correctly, and triple-checked it. It followed trojan300's guide to setting up a private server.

Now, I've made sure everything is running... and It allows me to connect to my server.

It even allows me to choose which realm I want to join (Rising Theory Realm 1)

After I click on that and hit OK, it says "Connected." for ever. It's still on there.

forwarded ports and changed hosts file?

Well I'm connecting to 127.0.0.1

I always thought you didn't have to forward for that...but I'll try.

And Host files? I don't know what you mean by that unless you mean the MySQL database and all that...
